But I had to be told. If you ever expect to lift your head and chest for more than a few seconds in UD, it really helps if you don’t place your hands right next to your ears. I widened my hand stanceĀ quite a bit and am a little annoyed realizing that I’ve wasted like three years trying to get it done the other way.

I don’t do Astanga yoga … but a similar principle applies, even moreso … in my case, post-injury (not from yoga, but a dance injury)
