Reluctant Play

Nah, not really. I had fun, but I did wake up with a change of weather monster headache which slowed me into thinking that procrastination can be a signal to change how you do something, instead of not doing it at all (there is a post right there)!

So my friend Jayme, also known as the Reluctant Ashtangi and author of the well regarded “periodical” Ashtanga As It Is, posted a runway photo of her home practice space with all her toys/props/whatever helps gadgets on FB. That shot inspired me to first shoot and submit my runway photo to smallbluepearls.com/, and second to use my own toys for an after aromatic saltbath relaxing research practice. All chins can touch kneesĀ  in seated poses with toys. Jumback from Bekasana is possible when resting your head on a block. UD with straight elbows is possible with blocks against the wall. Bhuja with feet dangling is almost possible if you have a little banquette originally designed to sit while you milk cows. then you scoot over to the narrow hallway and crawl up to a 20 breath headstand, plus you put the MC yogi channel on your Pandora radio and yeah.

I was so energized that I ended writing something I wanted to get off my chest and sent it to somebody that cares. Thanks Jayme!
